Illuminating the ingredients
of Illuminate Me

Are you afraid of using ingredients you can’t pronounce? Let me calm your fears just like my products will calm your skin.

While Illuminate Me is a product that contains hard-to-pronounce ingredients, they are more importantly skin-lightening ingredients designed to work together to lighten and brighten your skin. Let me explain:

Illuminate Me: for skin sunspots, age spots, dark spots

Hydroquinone
Pronounced [Hai-drow-kwi-nohn]

When used topically, hydroquinone is a skin-lightening agent that essentially bleaches your skin. This “bleaching” action occurs when the number of melanocytes are reduced. Melanocytes create melanin, which is responsible for the overall tone of your skin.

Kojic Acid
Pronounced [Kho-jick]

Kojic Acid is produced from fermented fungus. Ehh-hum! Yep, I said fungus. But don’t worry, that’s just a fancy word for mushrooms. Kojic Acid is special because it acts as a whitening agent by hindering melanin production and ultimately works to even out your skin tone.

Azelaic Acid
Pronounced [Ah-zeh-lay-ick]

Azelaic Acid is a naturally occurring acid found in grains like wheat, barley, and rye. Azelaic Acid has anti-inflammatory properties that clean the bacteria from your pores that cause acne. An additional benefit of using Azelaic Acid is that it can reduce the dark spots left by acne.

Illuminate Me is a powerful product intended to reduce hyperpigmentation (sunspots, age spots, dark spots from acne) and contains all three of these ingredients designed to work together to give you the maximum benefit from each ingredient.
